They have a machine that doe this at a deli near where I live. It really does work..however, it's a commerical version...so not so sure if this "consumer" version will work or not...

You could also try putting them in the freezer for a few minutes. Be careful though, this only works the the first few. After you've had 7 or 8, you're at a much higher risk for the cans exploding in your freezer

It seems that you could do the same thing by filling up your sink, or a bucket, with cold water and ice; then spinning the can with your hand.

It just sounds like a gimmick. 2 AA batteries?

screw the fire extinguisher, take a can of compressed air duster, turn it upside down, point it at the can, and spray around the can. Get the outside all nice and frosted!
