I really wish that they had either:
A. Not had BNW in this.
B. Made BNW a second-week thing.
The average price is just too high. I want to try these games, but not for $10, silly as that complaint sounds (and is, really). If I could put my Steam Wallet money (I have $20 to blow) towards this, I'd probably do it, but I have too many games not getting played to just throw $10 at a few more right now.
It's possible, but I think it will hurt the sales TOTALS (not necessarily income) long-term. The one Humble Bundle I got, I got it because there were one or two games I wanted. I'm never going to buy them if they add something I don't want as a $15 add-on to jack up the price. It just turns me away.
Well, if they can sell fewer bundles and make as much or more money then that is a win for Humble Bundle and we will see that way more often.
I think that at least part of this is also that Humble Bundle is literally running out of quality games that developers are willing to sell for the name your own price. Developers are worried that it is eroding the market price, and I think rightfully so.
I already have Civ IV Complete..but haven't had much chance to play it.. should I just stick with that, or is Civ V a worthy game to play instead of IV?
I think part of the problem here is that if you wanted Civ 4 or lower you would have it by now. It has been on sale for as little as $4 including, all the DLC, many times. Civ 5 has been on sale regularly for $10 including everything up to the Gods and Kings DLC. So, if you are a fan of the Civilization game franchise you have probably already bought everything except the Brave New World DLC for less then the $15.However, when I say $15 for every Civilization game (basically), that's also a problem.
I would love them to do more ebook and audiobook bundles. I have very much enjoyed each of them. I would love to see them do a comic book bundle as well. It's becoming debatable as to whether Humble Bundles can stay around for a lot longer. They could improve by expanding to things like the audiobook offer more often, but who really wants to go and give away games like that all the time?
They do recycle a lot. I think I have like 5 copies of The Binding of Issac now from Humble Bundles.Personally, I think they should do some recycling with it, because there are a lot of bundles I missed, seeing as I didn't even start looking at them until a few months ago. I wonder if their agreements allow for such things, or if they need to get re-approved to put a game in a future deal.

Civ V was one of the things on-sale, but I wasn't willing to put the $30 or so into it so I could get it all, since I'm not sure I like turn-based stuff enough. I grew up with Empire Earth and some Age of Empires, and I like that real-time setup. So it's not like I skipped the other Civ games intentionally, I just wasn't playing PC games, or even buying them. I still need a strategy game, and this bundle intrigued me on that front.
