those signs are worth money, when I was in HS we used to drive around after the elections and get as many as we could, a recycling place paid like $1.50 each (3 or 4 of us would usually get about 200 of them in an afternoon.

I have one in my front yard and one in my back yard. Most of my neighbors are die-hard Republicans but they understand the drill. I'm more worried about outsiders and some of the boys in pick up trucks.

On the other side of the coin, I saw a HUGE Bush sign completely destroyed. It was in front of a business and someone had recently thrown a log through it because the log was still there!

This stuff is just the wrong way for a democracy. Tolerance is what a democracy is all about. Without tolerance you have totalitarianism.

TWO nice new signs now in my yard...a donation to the Democratic party (at least to pay for the signs). A few signs for co-workers who have requested them. So one sign removed, 5 more taking it's place in various places and one bumper sticker too.

Sign temporarily stapled and taped (clear tape ) and used my fat @ss to drive it all the way into the ground. Backup sign in garage!

I have calmed down a little....stealing is stealing......

See above post. Our dorms are suites, with 4 people split into 2 rooms with a common bathroom. One of the guys is a hardcore RBH and has hated me since I told him that I was in College Republicans. The other 2 are undecided voters, and neither of them cares a whole lot.

He volunteered to perform at a private fund-raising concert in Cincinnati this summer for Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry and appeared on stage in Toledo, Ohio, recently with rock musicians Neil Young and Pearl Jam as part of the "Vote For Change" tour.

"I was pretty naive about American politics," he said, laughing about coming out of a grocery to find someone had removed the Kerry sticker from his car. "Now I have one inside my car window so no one can take it."

Frampton is scheduled to leave on Election Day for a tour of the United Kingdom, but said he won't leave until after he votes.

"The last election showed us that every vote counts," he said.

The neighborhoods are loaded with Bush-Cheney Signs and all kinds of other Repugs but no Dems of any kind anywhere.
