yeah I hear that works OK... dunno about overclocking the card with it though.

I have an AIW 9700 pro so I can't use it.

I got this and the heatsink is very hot on both sides. I guess I mounted it well with Arctic Silver 3. Also I am a little worry that it is so hot.

How is your case circulation?? did you loose a PCI slot with this heatsink?

I put one of these on my GF4 4200 and it seems to run cool. I have poor case circulation at the moment as well. (that is in the works.)

Much quieter than the coolers they put on stock video cards, noise-wise, although you WILL LOSE A PCI SLOT. Period. This thing is 2" thick total (card and heatsinks).

Yes. I lost a PCI slot next to it. You cannot put any card in the slot but I use it for the USB ports so it's OK. I find that you need a fan to go over the top otherwise it's burning hot without the fan though. The fan does not need to be spinning fast just some air moving through.

If you want to save money, a cheap cpu heatsink with a quiet fan works great. You have to either drill four holes in it to bolt in on or use adhesive. Of course you lose one or more pci slots depending on how big it is. I used the $5. GC-68 from SVC.com on my Ti4600. It takes two pci slots, but has an 80mm fan. I put a super quiet nmb fan on it. It cools my volt modded and overclocked Ti4600 very well. The 80mm fan also blows over the memory chips so I found they don't need heatsinks.
