Priced comparable to the Sapphire x1900xtx 512mb. Isn't the Sapphire a much faster card?

they only use 50W, that's nothing like GF3's which had even smaller passive cooling on some models...you seriously beleive they would release and stand behind a card, overclocked, that would be unstable? IMO all 7900/7950 GT's should have been passive instead of those loud arse whinny 60 mm fans which move hardy any air,Originally posted by: Ayah

Ah crap, should I cancel my X1900XTX (299AR from ZZF) and get a 7950GT (possibly add a second one later)? My mobo doesn't support CF (A8N32-SLI)...sigh

For 299.. that card rips through a 7950GT. Dont cancel it.

Yep.
That XFX looks cool but I'm betting people are going to be mounting a fan on/around it sooner or later. It's gonna run VERY hot, even with those heatpipes. Plus, it's the same price as a 1900XT /XTX in some cases.
