it is so much better compare to all of the panaflo products.
Any other fans do you think will beat this one?

SilenX fans are simply rebranded Adda fans. There are no official requirements for the determination of fan noise; hence, the measurement can be taken from one meter away, or ten.

That being said, some have been satisfied with their SilenX products.

Silentpcreview.com refuses to review SilenX products due to questionable business ethics.

I think the Panaflo L1A is probably the best bet today, all though someone else may feel differently.

Any fan that says that it is less than 20 db, I raise my eyebrow. I then quickly go to www.silentpcreview.com to see what they measured the fan as.

The issue comes in when a company puts forth misleading information just to make their product look good.

It's clear that there is no clear standard on how to measure noise on fans, but SilenX's noise claims are orders of magnitude different from that of EVERY OTHER FAN MFG. in the world. They obviously are using testing methods significantly different than industry norm.

I have a Silenx 80mm 11dba fan and can assure you that it is significantly quieter than an 80mm Vantec Stealth. However, I do agree that Silenx CFM measurements are exaggerated.

i own two 120mm silenx fans plus a 90 mm one being rated 11 db and 14 db.
Even though they are quite silent, they are more or less the same that my old thermaltake 21 db and really less cfm (ANY doubt about this).
