Silly quirk or reasonable action?

i do it, mainly with my wallet though because i can usually feel my keys through my pants.

Yes i do that quite often... check in my coat pockets and purse to make sure i have everything.

When I'm leaving my room I kinda talk to myself, "Keys, check, wallet, check" etc. When I am out and about I pat myself down every once in a while just to make sure. I can't afford to lose my credit card, debit, liscence. Too much to lose not to do an occasional check.

I always do this before I leave the house... Pat my ass to check my wallet, my pocket for my cell phone and car keys, and my wrist for my watch. If I'm on the go and I think of it I'll check again to make sure I didn't lose anything. I did see a video that advised against checking your back pocket in crowded places because it's a bullseye for pick-pickpockets. Unless you wanna put your wallet somewhere else, though, you might as well check once in awhile.

edit: So yeah, doesn't sound very OCD to me. Maybe if you were counting your money every 10 minutes or something that would be weird...
