Every Sunday I go to pick up groceries for a friend of mine who is paralyzed from the waist down. He's been in a wheelchair ever since he got cancer by his spine about 15 years ago. Since he can't drive, he really can't get out easily to get his own groceries and get them back to his apartment easily.
Anyway, half the time when I call to get his grocery list, he either hasn't written one down yet or else has left it in another part of the apartment. I end up having to wait half an hour for him to get back to me with the list.
I realized last week that we both have Android tablets, and I was wondering if anyone could recommend some sort of grocery app that we could both put on our tablets so that it is basically synced, and that whatever he has entered by Sunday morning I can just go pick up, without calling him, and without all of the waiting, etc?
I end up getting the same things for him over and over, so it would be a huge plus if the app would let him enter regularly purchased items so that he can simply swipe the ones he wants that week, rather than having to enter text over and over and over...
Any suggestions? I will simply be using this list to glance at as I go in the store - nothing fancy like entering items as I shop. I'll look at the list while I shop, then I would like to click "finished" or something when I get back home, in range of the wifi.
Thanks for any help!
