Are case fans supposed to blow inwards or outwards? I'm figuring outwards since most I've seen blow that direction, but I just like to be sure. And the noob of the year award goes to...........
um.
well I have my 92 mm fan blow in cause than it blows cooler air to the hs, and an 80 mm blowing out. It really depends on what you think is best, but the air should flow in one hole out the other..
I have a 120 mm fan on the back of the case and a 80 mm in the front. With the case I have there aren't really any holes over the plastic part, though. My power supply intakes air and blows it out the back, my graphics card also blows air out the back, and my heatsink fan blows air out the side. Which of the 2 fans I have would be best for intake?
basically i would say trial and error, my case overheated if i dont have the fans just how they are. im runnen pretty hot as it is. but i have one side fan blowign out. which is amazing! and i have 2 in back blowign out and 2 in front pulling in. if you ahve issues wiht over heating try somethign dif. you really cant hurt anything as long as you watch the temp. so get creative and think about waht would cause the most air flow ( cold air, non re-circualted air ) dont ahve one in back pushin out and another in back pulling in... common sense there.
