simple win2k pro question

i need to write a research paper on win2k pro for my class. what facet of win2k can i write about? any advice would be appreciated

Why not write about the NTFS file system? Compare it to FAT and FAT32 in terms of features, capabilities, etc. Emphasize features like encryption, NTFS permissions. You could broaden this to a paper on the subject of "security. The possibilities are endless.

You could compare and contrast it with past OS's like Win98 and it's superiority in things such as memory management and stability. On the same token you could detail what's different between XP Pro and Win2000 Pro, not that there is a great deal, though. I don't know how long your paper must be.
