<< Bush stuffed FERC with Enron appointed commissioners, FERC turned a blind eye as the Enron crowd withheld supplies and manipulated the market to essentially rob CA of $30Billion under threat of blackouts. That's $1000 from every Californian. Money that could have gone to CA schools, hospitals, or returned as tax cut to residents.
Maybe Bush couldn't prevent the bancruptcy, but It's not for the lack of trying, and they did gain advantage from their donations. They pretty much were left unregulated, and they took full advantage of it. There has to be a full investigation of CA energy crisis, starting with full disclosure from the White House.
The most important part of your statement is, "They pretty much were left unregulated, and they took full advantage of it."
How long has Bush been President, SuperTool? How long has Enron been doing what they've been doing? They rose to prominence during the Clinton administration. The California power crisis began during the Clinton administration. Don't try to hang something on Bush when he wasn't even in office yet. >>
I was going to answer him, but you summed it up nicely.
Give it up, Tool, this dog wont hunt.
