Just a little story about what happened last night. So I was in a discord channel talking about marvel movies.. "yes, i'm a nerd". When this person joined the channel and started talking. I don't know if i was really stoned or drunk or combination of both, but I swear to god I felt like i was listening to myself ...we ended up talking to each other and it went on for hours...It's like I found a clone of me. Did I find my soulmate? my clone? People don't talk like me, so I picked up on this really quick and it was probably the best time I ever had talking online with anyone. I hope he logs in tonight on discord....i know thats weird. I'm not gay either.

If you can't copy your knowledge onto the clone you'd have the slight problem that it would most likely get you fired. Not to mention that it would be quite a bit younger and therefore wouldn't really pass as being you.

The only reason humans haven't been cloned (and most likely they have by a government but has it been kept a secret) is the ethical question of whether you should do it. If they could edit out problems and a pregnant woman finds out her baby won't survive due to for example a genetic disorder, would it be ethical for her to have an editted clone of the embryo put back in its place?

If I needed an organ transplant, I might clone myself and use my clones organs (if he didn't really need them). It's only a matter of time before brain transplants become possible. I would clone myself but keep the clone on ice until I was 70 years old and then transplant my brain into the clone. There are a few things I would do differently and I want a do over for my life.Of course, I would still have a 70 year old brain with all the associated age related brain problems so I guess that wouldn't really work.

That was a pretty decent movie, until it became a Michael Bay movie in the 3rd Act.

It's a shame that with all of the great content available, very few are able to put together solid movies or TV series with PK Dick's extensive material.
