Sins of a Solar Empire ranked #20 out of the Top 25 games for the 2000s decade

Sins of a Solar Empire is a fantastic strategy game. Still waiting on an expansion/sequel with a full fledged storyline campaign. That setting is just too intriguing and well thought-out to go to waste.

As for the rest of the list, meh. The absence of Mass Effect and Total War is criminal.

If possible, hopefully Sins 2 will include some sort of a campaign editor. There are lots of modders out there so I don't see why the game couldn't have campaign designers as well.

A guy at the Sins forum put up a good post in response to a guy who claims to play Starcraft 2 online against other people but only plays Sins in single player against the AI. In his post, he describes some of the things you might miss out on by not playing it online:

Ever ran your capital ship with less than 100 health? 50 health? 10 health? EVER HAD THE ENEMY CHASE your capital ship the gravity well you have retreated too? and the next grav well? and the next?

(My answer to that is Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, and Yes.)

Bioshock is a good game, but I didn't find it memorable at all. It's just one of half a dozen good games I play each year.

I bought Bioshock 2 and actually find it pretty boring to be honest. More of the same.

I definitely agree with Sins. Great game although I was never very good at it. BioShock and WoW as the top two, definitely not. BioShock is just Doom 3 meets Jedi Knight. It wasn't bad and the story was good, but its still just a generic linear shooter. No Fallout 3, Crysis, or Oblivion in the list?

Good to see Sins up on that list. Love Tropico 3 too though I also agree with others that it really does not compare to the likes of Sins.

I would have loved to see Prince of Persia: SoT and Dragon Age on that list though.
