SiS 735 Benchmarks exposed! *updated*

Here are some initial benchmarks i got from my m830 mobo w/SiS735 chipset.

CPU: 1200mhz axia
Mem: 256mb DDR generic micron
OS: Win2k sp2

SiSoft Scores

Cpu Bench: 3337/1639
Multimedia Bench: 6523/7474
Mem Bench: 625/782

Windows 2000 sp2. Alton/Pc-Chips/ECS are all the same. Am i happy? Well its alot faster than my kt7a-raid, but its DDR compared to SDR of course. So yeah i guess im happy for the $80 i spent on the board.

My boss said he got them straight from pc-chips, but i dunno. Someone put up a link for the ECS version somewhere on here. The ECS one is the same exact board cept on a black pcb.

ECS??? PC-Chips??? No thanks!!! I'd wait for one from EPox, Asus, or Abit.

There is a post about some ECS SIS735 board being like $61 or something, I think someone posted it in Hot Deals and also in General Hardware (to announce that they were out).

Do a search.

BTW, any overclocking options?

You can change fsb 100/133 and cant change the multiplier (at least i cant figure out how) and there are a few mem tweaks. So ide say, not really any overclocking features ;-)
