Sister Moving to College

My little sister is starting college and is moving into the dorm tomorrow morning. She's currently parking and it seems like she's a little sad. I don't really know what all to tell her except to watch out for guys who just want a piece .

She's going to a way bigger college than I am currently in, and she's also going to be closer to home. I think she'll be fine.

What else can I tell her, at least to make her feel like she'll have a good time as a girl.

She's not sheltered. She's gone to a few high school parties but hasn't really gotten like shit face drunk (I don't think). No banging nothing!

My little sis and I were close and had the same issues. We did things like set up times to talk during the week (usually Sunday evenings) and it got much easier for her. I think a big part of it was knowing no one when she went and I could give her a sounding board for her fears/issues. The calls got shorter/less frequent as she became more active on campus but she always says that I kept her sane during those first few weeks.

I think that's what is going to happen with us. Plus she closer to our other sister, and they'll probably talk all the time!

This is the best advice you can give her IMO. Make sure she knows that and gives her cup to a friend if she walks away or whatever.
