Situation where as a new employee your co-workers feel you as a threat?

I'm the youngest in the IT group of 10 or so. I've been here about a year. Have been told by older and more senior workers that others feel either jealous, threatened by my knowledge/ability for my age etc....

What is the best way to deal with this situation, so that you can still work there in harmony with others?

Screw them (not literally) if they are content sitting with their current skills set and pay... climb up right over them. Of course in the IT world it is easy to make someone look bad if the management has not clue about tech stuff. They may sabotage you.

Meh, unless you want to start blowing them all to make them happy, nothing you can do. Until they start sabotaging your work, it's just jealousy that a lot of people probably have, but try to hide.
