You are the dumbass who has no idea how medicaid works. Their is no such thing as medicaid disability checks. You are clearly making up shit or are very confused about the program your brother in-law was on. I know people who are actually on medicaid and SSI, and it is clear you don't know how these programs work.

You don't qualify for medicaid on cancer unless it is deemed terminal with treatment, and this is on top of the asset test, which you are totally ignorant of.

The fact that you don't even understand that medicaid has an absolute asset test before the ACA, is very telling of how dumb you are. Before the medicaid expansion, everyone on medicaid was subject to the asset testing.

Like I said. You know it all. I guess you were there and I wasn't. And yes it was Social Security Disability and Medicaid.

You don't get medicaid with Social Security Disability, you get it with Supplemental Security Income. You get Medicare with Social Security Disability, and there is a 3 year wait after you are declared disabled.

Oh I am sure he is just waiting to see where you finally plant the goalposts.

Feel free to tell me the goalpost shift.

Fern flat out stated he wanted Medicaid expanded, when in fact the ACA did exactly that. So he is arguing against the very thing he supports. So he once again has shown he lacked even basic understanding about what we was posting on. Bonus points for him supporting the GOP when they intentionally refused to allow Medicaid to be expanded in several GOP controlled states.

No goalpost shifting, just showing him as being willfully ignorant yet again, and just like other times, he leaves rather then digging a deeper hole. Typical behavior for him and others here that really on their beliefs rather then facts.

This is comedy gold, especially coming from Fern.

I hate to break it to you Fern, but you do realize that the ACA included expanding Medicaid programs, but after the USSC made it optional, most of the GOP states refused to participate, thereby knowingly and willingly screwing over millions of their poorest constituents.

The irony that Mr. Right Wing Fern will proclaim that we should have just expanded a program instead of the ACA, when Fern's own party who he so blindly supports, went out of their way to not participate in the existing program and screw over their own people.

Do you ever learn what you are talking about before spouting the party line?

Do you ever get embarrassed when you show how ignorant you are in front of everyone on the forums here?

Geez, you're an idiot.

My remark was simple and straight forward. But I'll repeat it for you:

The expansion of Medicaid under Obamacare in no way accomplished what I suggested. It wasn't intended to. What I suggested was a much simpler way to achieve the touted (but not 'unintended'?) aspects of Obamacare.

If you think what I suggested is that same as what Obamacare actually did, notwithstanding the declination of some states, then we have redundant programs: The people I identified covered once under Obamacare and covered again under Medicaid.

Fool, thy have revealed they self.

BTW: I have no party.

No, you're wrong again. (Congrats, consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds.) The ACA expansion did not "exactly" do that.

I specifically mentioned pre-existing conditions. Obamacare did not use expansion of Medicaid to address pre-existing conditions. It used price controls.

(I believe the Medicaid expansion was disingenuous and purely for partisan political purposes. North versus South, Blue states versus Red. If nationally implemented it would raise the tax base in Southern red states. A higher tax environment would stem the flow of industry moving to the South. E.g. auto manufacturers. The Obama admin has already moved nakedly to this end; preventing Boeing from moving South. This also benefits the unions; we're 'right to work states' down here.)

Furthermore, if one of the main purpose of Obamacare wasn't to gain more control over the private health care system they could have just used a federal program such as Medicare (and not Medicaid) to address the problems advertised. Again, no need for zillions of new law/regulations and no need for states' approval.

First of all I have a life. His remark was Saturday and I was busy at a party instead of being online. Otherwise I'm busy at work with the so-called tax season.

His buffoonery is less moving of the goal post and more distortion that was driven by his ignorance and partisan animosity.

Lol... you don't even know that the ACA did exactly what you complained about. And like I said, your GOP buddies intentionally cut off the program in their states. But keep on shoveling that hole deeper.

So shouldn't you be set at the GOP for not allowing the Medicaid expansion? Or do you think that is ok?

Good job...... fox news would be proud of you.

In other words: The ACA has increased costs for most people despite Obama's repeated promises that most of us would see our costs go down. But on the bright side, it did solve less than a third of the problem that the ACA was supposed to fix. And it made our lives a little less complicated by limiting the choice of coverage we used to have the freedom to make. Yay Obama.

Heh. That was your post #99 of this thread you quoted. I offered post #100 in reply, which you've chosen to ignore for obvious reasons.

This post-

Perhaps you'd care to address it now, having circled back to merely restate you original flawed assertion.
