I just bought some of this at Sam's for my Canon G2 and it works well for me. I only got the 128MB though...Wish I would have waited for this deal.

I wouldn't buy a simpletech card if you want fast read/write speeds.

Look @ this review of a whole bunch of brands and sort by jpeg of tiff performance. The simpletech finishes just about last each time. On my 2 simpletech cards on my Nikon 995 they take about 4 seconds to write an image where my viking card takes 1.5 (same image).

I can definately notice a big difference between my lexar (4x & 8x) and viking cards as opposed to my Mr. Flash & Simpletech cards. In fact, the generic Mr. Flash Card tested slightly faster for me (unscientific test but I'm convinced).

That review may or may not be relevant; the Simpletech card reviewed thre is both a different capacity and form factor (CF-II). And if that card is comparable to the one in this deal, the dpreview article really only shows that you shouldn't use it with the Nikon 995 - maybe other Nikon models as well.

If you look at the Canon Dx reviews the SimpleTech card is either 2nd or 4th place.

Agree. zeroidea. Overall it's not so bad and mostly depending on what camera you use. I'm in for $59 after MIR.

Be cautious to this rebate. I can't find it on Simpletech's website. Neither any website of the resellers specified in Simpletech.com.
