SK-7 Fitting Problems?

Are there any SK-7 Fitting Problems associated with the EPoX 8KHA+?

With me cutting my PC noise down and possibly getting a brand new T'Bred A (UK are a tad behind), I can give my Dad my old chip (NO Im not going to wrap it up and give it to him for Christmas). I dont think that the HSF on his T'Bird is up to the job so he might as well take my old HSF.

The SK7 should fit fine on that board. SK7 is a great heatsink for the money. That motherboard has lots of room for heatsinks and the SK7 isn't that big so it should be no problem at all.

yeah, it will fit fine. just be careful with the clip. i found using pliers *and* a screwdriver was a lot easier. use a small-tipped screwdriver if ya have one cuz that notch is tiny.

Im thinking of using a YS Tech Adjustable on it along with 2 Adjustables as case fans. Every post ive read gives these the thumbs up, pity i cant find that many posts about them.

thats the same fan i use on the sk7. i crank it all the way up, but having the adjustability is nice. idle temps are anywhere between 33-36C depending on ambient house temp. under load it doesnt get any higher than 42C. case moves between 25-29.

so far, i'm extremely happy with the sk7/ ys tech/ epox / xp 1600+ / combo. considering i upgraded from a p3 600, this thing runs like a dream.
