Although it's great being skinny for all those reasons you listed..it's also not great for all those reasons you listed....if you're too skinny.

I'm really skinny..AND short...

so maybe I don't have to worry about Atkins or diets of any kind...but I can NEVER find the rize size clothing. Take pants for example, I find jeans that fit my waist...but they're too long. Or they're the perfect length..but too big around the waist. Jeans shopping is such a pain for me.

Not being called a fat ass...try being called anorexic or bulimic. There's nothing worse than someone telling you that you should eat more b/c you look like you have an eating disorder. Yea..maybe some of us skinny people are naturally blessed with a fast metabolism..but most OTHER people don't understand that..and think.."oh she's skinny...she must be anorexic". It's really annoying.

being skinny isn't always a good thing.

5' 10", 140# or so. 30" waist, 34" inseam. Always seem sold out of that size, but thankfully I finally did manage to get out of the 29" waist pants.....those are an absolute drag to find!!! (It took until I was over 40 to finally get to a 30" waist size, but seems to have stabilized over the last decade.)

Hey, AIWGuru, quit bragging about your car. Post a pic of your body instead! At the end of the day, I don't care that you drive a mustang. :Q

I think being skinny or being too fat both are bad...I consider myself too skinny at 5'9.5" 140 lbs.

6'5" 170ish.

Thats skinny enough for me. I'm tall, and I have i'm pretty skinny, but not to the extreme. I have a friend who is neary as tall as I am and probably 30-40 pounds lighter. We joke about him . . . and not only is he skinny, but if you start to hit him (as a joke, of course) he crosses his arms over his abdomen, hunches over, and starts saying "hey guys, comeon now . . ."

haha, hes great.

Yah, and maybe he is too skinny, but I've seen fat men respond the same way.

Oops! I didn't see the second pic.

You're one skinny dude. You're even skinnier than I! (I'm 6' 1" and fluctuate between 129 Lbs and 135 Lbs. My average weight is 133 Lbs.)

Well, good thing you have a mustang! :Q I'm just teasing you!

Protip: Women generally don't like scrawny guys. It's a primal instinct that women like to feel secure and protected when they're with their man. If a strong breeze can blow him over, that's not very reassuring.

You could be a skinny little stick but still have the cholesterol content high enough that could give anyone a heart attack.

Other than that, over 300 Lbs, it gets a little grotesque.

Totally not true! I know you didn't mean anything by it, but trust me you can be to skinny, i've been there. People should be taught how to be healthy, not skinny. I could go on forever about this (literally I have a 160 page document on it), but wont.
