Skullcandy sends me an invoice two months later

I had a $300 credit from a warranty claim so I order a Bluetooth speaker, Bluetooth headphones and an Xbox One headset and had to pay $39. I submit my order and it was processed, the next week I receive my products. Just now they send me an invoice in PayPal claiming my payment didn't go through for the $39, seems like bs. I call PayPal and they tell me I suited my order and basically it was their fault for not processing the payment within 5 days. She told me there is nothing they can do since it was their own fault and shouldn't have shipped before processing. Should I send payment again?

was the base $39 taken out of your paypal? and if it was, is there another $39 crediting your account back?

If there is not a $39 credit back. I would give skullcandy the transaction details from paypal and let them get the money from paypal (as that is who currently has the $$$)

I disagree. If money was debited from your account by a payment processor (like paypal) and you were never credited that amount back then it is not your responsibility. The vendor picks the payment processor, not you.

If I write a check and the vendor's cashes it, but their bank never credits them it is not my problem. That is their issue.

look like they made a mistake not taking the money from paypal and the authorization expired, so now they are sending OP a paypal invoice to pay it.

Not nearly as bad as E-ZPass waiting 3 years to send me an $8 fine. I contested it and they said tough luck, bring it to the judge...too bad I had better things to do.
