Sky Hawk Jupiter...Antec PS :(

I've run into a snag.
When installing the Antec True 430 in the Jupiter case,
the screw setup seems to force the second fan against the
top of the case. It's reversed from what I am used to.

Does this mean that I have to break out the Dremel Tool?
How does one flop the PS in this case...?
Or are these cases incompatable with Antec?

Anyone delt with this yet?

It would be better if the fan faced the other way but that can't be helped. Don't worry about it. I had the same problems with my TruePower 550watt PS and my Chenbro Genie case. Installed with the way the screws let me and it runs fine. Temperature at very good too.

Thanks Raymond..

The problem with this case is that there is very little room for the PS intake
fan. It's right up against the top of the case. Seems a weird design to me.
Most double fan PS are going to have a problem with this design.

You lose all the use of the second fan essentially; I know when I bought an Enermax dual-fan, I read specifically on their site a warning about making sure that your case would accept it properly.

If you can, take it back and get a single-fan PSU (there are plenty of good single-fan PSU's, a second fan doesn't automatically make it better). If not, open the casing and disconnect the power connector for the internal fan so you're not wasting power and making more noise (even if it is a very little bit of noise). I'm of course not responsible if you electrocute yourself; don't do it if you can't do it right. I would expect that having a fan shoved very close to the top of the case will just create turbulence and noise, but if there's a little bit of space, it may help with cooling. I never really noticed any temperature differences with or without a second fan blowing in the PSU, and the air coming out of my TruPower 330W is barely even above room temperature.

Of course, you could just mod the case and put a suck-hole above the PSU fan, a little duct inside to give it a good suction.

Yo Lord
Ya the duct tape sounds good...
It's too bad these manufacturers can't get together...
I don't think I'll be carving intake holes just yet.
I do want to keep the PS as it is one of the best : True 430
Maybe I'll just flip the ps and mod the case slightly.
Anyone know if this can be done?
Thanks

I've seen peeps do this with the Chenbros. No biggy, just a new hole pattern. Then the PSU will be oriented correctly. That's what I'd do if I was you. Anyhting else is ghetto.
