Well, I scheduled the girlfriend and I for our first sky dive on Sunday.
We'll be jumping in Cushing, OK. at 10:00AM.
I'm trying to talk her into letting me do the accelerated freefall program but she's making me go tandem first... which means I'll have a dude strapped to my back.
Anyone ever been before? What was your experience like?

UPDATE::
OH MY GOD!
That was simply amazing. There is no way that I could completely describe the experience other than that it was the singe most terrifying yet most exhilarating moment of my life.
We arrived at Cushing airport at 9:30AM wanting to be a little early for everything. But, due to high winds and limited visibility they grounded everyone for a while. It was hit and miss for a few hours with other jumpers going ahead of us. When it was our turn to jump, she wanted to go first because she was afraid she wouldn't go at all if she didn't. When she got on the plane she looked like she was going to cry, but when she came back to the hangar she was nothing but grins!
The most terrifying moments of my experience where riding in that bumpity ass little plane for the first few thousand feet, when they popped the door and it was suddenly all too real, having to put my foot out of the cabin and on to the foot rest, doing the flip out of the plane -seeing the plane above me and nothingness all around me and thinking "WTF!?"
But, man It was just amazing; the rush of the wind all around me, the view, the weightless feeling, and the peaceful swinging under the canopy were all amazing.
Andy jumped with both of us and Sean was the videographer. Matt, Andy says your a character and no, he didn't call you a p*ssy.
If you've never jumped before, stop saying, "I want to skydive before I die." and just get out there and do it. The guys at www.oklahomaskydiving.com were all very friendly and informative. They definitely know their stuff and I know I'll be going back soon.
