If true, I'm glad to see this. Combining the CPU and chipset reduces configuration flexibility and provides no benefits where mobility is not a major concern.
no big Intel chip on the MB means it's harder to get money from it (license for the socket or something?), and if the CPU (with a PCH) price was higher people would be unhappy ($50 more)
