Here's a fix for the magic resistance bug.
Not sure why this is posted in the console section, we can't do anything with it. :whiste:

I didn't notice a difference. What was the patch for anyways?
I think I can say the leveling system is too slow for the size of the game or at least main quest line. To literally not come even within the ballpark of tapping out any other skills but still completing the main quest feels off to me.
52 hours in, level 31 character I finished main quest line tonight on expert. I wasn't going hard for the main quest line but it ended. Kind of torn on what I think about it, because I feel like a lot of the game is left. Hell, other than max of smithing nothing else even hit level 60. I had no expert, let alone master spells, and to get them now feels just kind of pointless. Even on expert I do well with things, and anybody who's finished knows there are a couple of jacked up shouts that make the character even more powerful.

Also, once I hit 100 on smith and could create dragon, it wasn't long before I was finding armor at least as good if not better (since I had no real enchant abilities to pimp it up).
Still I may restart as a warrior for giggles.
The game started pretty slow for me, I didn't even really enjoy it. But I sank a few hours into it yesterday and really liked it. I am looking forward to playing some more of it tonight.
Go to where the white arrow at the top of the screen tells you toI killed a dragon, but not with in 5 minutes. I just meant that all Bethesda games seem kind of slow at the beginning. I still wish I would have picked up the strategy guide for the game.
Ah, so that's what those arrows are for...Go to where the white arrow at the top of the screen tells you to
okay you can send the paypal to...

Anyone know how to activate a dwarven mechanism?
Most likely you're in an area for a quest. I've found a few of those and gone back to a couple later during quests.
I think my biggest (weak) gripe is the sheer number of quests/errands I have in my log. I get side tracked way too easily. I'm committing to just sticking to the main quest for now, of which I'm only half way through at level 48.
The only major plotlines I've completed are:
- Companions
- Mages College
Everything else has either been a side quest from someone in a town or something I've stumbled upon just wandering around...like some of the deadric quests.
