You guys should go hit the Lover Stone before you do crafting things like that. It gives you a 15% increase to experience for all skills. I got 100 smithing real fast just making iron and steel daggersIt takes a lot more than that. I had to make about 300+ weapons/armor to get my smithing to 100, and I've enchanted probably 200 items to get my enchanting to 88. I sat down and made 125 potions or so last night in about 20 mins and levelled to 40 in alchemy, then went around WhiteRun and made about 6000 gold. I'm unmarried and lycanthropic so I get no resting bonuses, but I did turn on the Lover's Stone. I already have 2 fully outfitted houses, and I'm carrying about 30000 gold.
I've got Soul Stealer on my ebony bow and my Skyforged sword so I just buy every empty soul gem I come across and buy out the entire inventory from the Alchemists whenever I come accross them. With my enchanting currently @ 89 I'm using all the daggers I have left over from leveling my smithing to 100, and I sold the daggers one at a time to Warmaiden's to level my speech to 100 and kept the extras to enchant. With Dibella's amulet giving +15% and the 10% better prices from the opposite sex perk I get really good deals.
Most of the time to attain this you have to get more linear.You make the game sound so fun, like a class in micro economics. zzzzzz. But to be fair, I ,just run around killing everything and it isn't much more fun. I have lost track of all the hideout and caves I have cleared to get x or kill y. I have no idea why I am doing anything other than some stranger asked me to. I wish the game had some narrative and cut scenes or even some memorable characters.
Cool didn't know that it didn't stack on the lovers.Problem is you don't get a sleeping bonus w/ Lover's Stone. What you want to do is take Warrior's Stone, sleep 8 hours (especially if married) and then craft. You will get the 15% bonus from Lover's Comfort and 20% bonus from the Warrior's Stone - 35% increase in skill is really good.
Anyone using only bows and arrows? How do you like it? Fun?
Oh yeah, any arena type things in skyrim like oblivion? I haven't found one yet but loved the arena in oblivion.

But has it fixed the low-res texture glitch if you install the game to your HDD on the Xbox 360? Because I am kind of tired of the load times and noise of my DVD drive, but don't want to sacrifice the pretty stuff.

If I install this game to my hard drive will I see faster load times? Any other benefits?
On the 360, it's only around 3.5 gbs.How much space do you need to install the game?
