damnit i realllllllly wish i still had a good gaming pc. these games are so much better on the PC than on the PS3 that i have now.

I'm debating getting it for the PC just for the mods that will come out. Even simple mods that will clean up the inventory screen.

Hmm. I understand why they cannot implement multiplayer but I sure damn wish I could share gear I craft with my friends. Some way to send a gift over xbl would be welcome.

Sometimes I will craft for days and would love to gift some über gear.

Yeah crafting is pretty big for me too. If crafting in games sucks I just skip it all together. Looking forward to skinning some wolves and then stitching up some new leather. If its feasible, would be fun to play with only self crafted items, but maybe i'm just being too dorky here.

From what I have read, crafted gear is the best.

Nice, now I wish that I had got the pre-order and could be playing in 3-4 hrs. Although thats the only time I'd get to play until next thursday, so I guess I can just wait.

Hmm, wasn't this supposed to come with a cloth map? The map they provided is just thick paper.

Also, a big WTF about the graphics issues if it is installed on the hdd of the 360.

Until they fix the HDD graphics issue, I'm just going to play off the disk, but I moved the 360 to another room so I don't have to here it.

I've sank 18 hours in over the last day or so.

Still enjoying it. Been grinding away at smithing, at 86 now. I have a routine going:

Make sure you have the spell Transmute
1. In White run buy ire ore from the chick outside the blacksmith, the guy inside the blacksmith, the trader guy and the blacksmith at the sky forge
2. Keep casting Transmute to convert all the ire into silver than into Gold
3. Turn all the gold ore into Gold ingot
4. Craft Gold Necklaces and sell the necklaces to the trader from step 1

It makes your smithing go up decently plus you make some darn good coin.

I didn't make any money off them but I did get to 100 and made some amazing Legendary Dragon Armor. I also had a Black soul stone full and used it on my helmet to make my spells cost 12% less mana.

Now I'm working on enchanting. Need to get up to 100 so I can double enchant.


Also, I found the lover stone for the awesome +learning skills. I also found a dragon next to a shout next to a coffin that popped open with some badass Mage who almost killed me.He dropped a mask which was +20% to Lockpicking, Alchemy and sneak(?). I think I'm going to disenchant it for the bonuses.

Get a full set of daedric armor and then when you improve it use a blacksmith potion.

You basicly become a walking tank, unless a mage hits you.

I've never been the RPG type, and this is my first Elder Scrolls game, but, I'm really liking it a lot. It's taking me a bit to get used to everything, but overall I'm real happy with it.

Quick question though: I'm at the part where I have to show the Greybeards my shout, but I've already used the dragon souls I got from slaying the first dragon. I'm having a difficult time collecting more souls from dragons. I'm certainly not strong enough to take one on myself, so I'd like to do it in a group again. Any tips?

Dragons are really easy. I usually blast them with double frostbite which takes away their stamina. I have yet to try and melee one. They are pretty weak, so don't be afraid to start some shit with one.

What did you use the souls on? You should have used it on your shout. Just equip the shout and blast them with it.

I've put about 12 hrs into this... so far, the story/graphics are awesome as usual, but this is a horrible console port. The interface just screams console port. Clicking on your selection does nothing and you have to wade through lists via buttons.

The equip spell menu is also buggy, with the spell not equipping on the mouse button you select. Also often there's a bug where you can't deselect a spell to select another. The only way to fix it is to equip a two handed weapon and unequip it and return to the spell menu.

Well bugs is what Bethseda is known for, but it's still a kick ass game!

What did you use the souls on? You should have used it on your shout. Just equip the shout and blast them with it.

I got it sorted out. I was very tired, and kinda drunk, so I wasn't doing it correctly.

I'm working towards it now. What is the problem?

Maybe it also requires the smithing perk to improve magical weapons?


Tip: Always choose the item you want to enchant, then the property. Will save you loads of time.
