They're saying this is an EXTERNAL fire and that the sprinklers are keeping things OK inside -- not buying it! This is looking like a total loss to me.
One of the fire experts is saying that there have been fires like this in the past that involved the decorative exterior covering, a curtain wall I think they call it. So this raises the question -- how the fuck is flammable material permitted anywhere in the world.
So, although they're being somewhat optimistic that the fire is contained to the outside, by my untrained eye there's absolutely nothing contained about it.
