I like the last one the best, the other ones look kind of bland to me. I'm just getting into photography so I don't know the exact reasons, but I know what my eye likes

1. Are you using an external flash? If so bounce it off the ceiling, will get better lighting. Also makes everything look nice and soft.
2. I would get closer to the babies face. Zoom in if you can and just frame the babies head. Should make for a more dramatic shot.

She was extremely hairy when she was born, now she is cute as a kitten. All that baby hair went away after a few weeks.

I believe I like the last one best. I agree that you need to get in there closer. Cute baby too!
