I recently have put together an ALI system, and thus far my system has been running flawlessly, with one exception. I tried today to use some Microsoft Office applications to do some publishing, and I think I am having some 2D problem. Everytime I refreshed the screen each pictured would be drawn individually. If there are multiple clipart pictures in a document, just refreshing the screen could take 10-20 seconds. I turned off the SLI option in the nvidia control panel (restarted) and everything works perfectly. However, if I re-enable the SLI mode (restart again) it has these problems again.
I am having no 3D problems whatsoever. I am getting decent benchmarks in 3dmark05 (roughly 6200) and I am having no problems playing any other games (HL2, Doom3, WoW...). Its just strange that I am experiencing these problems with windows. Also, when I use IE or firefox to browse the internet, the pictures are fine. It just seems to be isolated to MS Office applications
Anyone else have this issue?
Thanks!
System Config:

2 MSI 6600 GT PCI-e Video Cards

Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS
2 Hitachi 160GB HD's (RAID 0)
