I've been running a single EVGA Superclocked 780Ti for a couple months no problems. Bought a second EVGA 780Ti regular edition. Installed it and I have been having Driver Overrun Stack Buffer BSOD outside of games. Games and benchmarks run just fine. Its only when i'm at the desktop or looking at a webpage I have an issue. PC will start to stutter and lock up. If I don't move my mouse or press any buttons it will come out of it just fine until the next time it does it. If I move my mouse a whole bunch I get the BSOD. I have tried both the newest Beta driver and WHQL driver same issue. I have tried Precision X, Afterburner, and NV Inspector with an overclock of 100mhz on core/mem with 103 percent power target. Don't know if its the overclocking causing the issue or not. Seems like a pretty mild overclock. Here is the rest of my system specs:
i72600k 4.7ghz
Asus P8Z68-V Pro/Gen3
2133mhz G Skill Trident X 8x2 16gigs ram
2560x1440 monitor
Corsair AX1200 power supply
Samsung 840 PRo 256gig

This is the BSOD code:
122813-9312-01.dmp 12/28/2013 3:47:30 PM DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER 0x000000f7 ffffd000`263edd30 00003521`ad9f2696 ffffd466`d2205dcd 00000000`00000000 nvlddmkm.sys nvlddmkm.sys+18c4f6 NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 331.82 NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 331.82 NVIDIA Corporation 9.18.13.3182 x64 ntoskrnl.exe+14dca0 C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\122813-9312-01.dmp 8 15 9600 298,136 12/28/2013 3:48:52 PM

I get the same thing with 3 780 in SLI.

Mine does it overclock or not cpu overclocked or not nothing matters I just live with it.

Sometimes my screen freezes and I hear audio but nothing but the mouse moves but nothing is clickable.

I have done fresh install on new hard drives, new boards, CPU's and ram common thing was SLI nvida 780's

added note I also use 3 monitors while in SLI for surround display.

My screen freezes for a few seconds and stutters. Does yours come out of it as long as you don't move the mouse and press buttons?

sometimes it will not come out of it. Many times it is videos that start the issues. YouTube and the like.
Most always internet surfing. Plays games like a MAC truck never has issues.

I haven't experienced anything like that. 2x780 ti's and a single monitor.

Filezz... 2 3930k's? Is the other a spare or does it actually go to something?

Its to early to confirm yet but it doesn't seem to do it if I don't have any overclock on my cards. I don't see why that would matter as I don't think a 103 percent power and +100mhz on core and mem is enough to cause any issues.

I have a spare PC if a friend or family member comes over they have a nice box to play on.

Mine overclock by default as they run cool as ice underwater. but crazy they crash in windows.

Mine hasn't had anything to do with videos. I could just be on the desktop doing nothing or about to do something and it does it. or I might be reading a webpage. I do seem to have higher instances of it happening a minute or two after I close out a game and go back to desktop.

Have you tried other SLI bridges? and you get this same exact BSOD code: 122813-9312-01.dmp 12/28/2013 3:47:30 PM DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER 0x000000f7 ffffd000`263edd30 00003521`ad9f2696 ffffd466`d2205dcd 00000000`00000000 nvlddmkm.sys nvlddmkm.sys+18c4f6 NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 331.82 NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 331.82 NVIDIA Corporation 9.18.13.3182 x64 ntoskrnl.exe+14dca0 CWINDOWS\Minidump\122813-9312-01.dmp 8 15 9600 298,136 12/28/2013 3:48:52 PM

Yeah if you can reproduce it I wouldn't mind seeing what yours is. I used Blue Screen to pull up the error code I have the same power supply.

I wonder if the issue could be that they both run at different clock speeds. One is the superclocked model the other is not.

I read on another site that it works better to have the slowest card as the primary. I'm going to swap mine around later tonight.

let me know how that works cause it will take effort for me to move my water crap around to make that happen.

Here is my theory. While gaming since things are stable the SLI is fully engaged and both cards are set to the same speed as one another. Some random process at my desktop or webpage level temporarily engages the sli and both cards are running at differen't speeds one gets slightly ahead of the other because it is faster causing some sort of instability resulting in the Overrun Buffer thing.

I swapped the cards around it was very strange what happened aftewards. Turned the computer on and seconds before windows starts to load the computer shuts off. Tried about 3 more times and it shuts off right before loading. Tried one more time holding Shift+F8 to try safe mode and Windows 8 loaded a repair screen and it attempted to repair. After it finished it loaded right into windows normally. I don't know what that was about other then my configuration changes and it was causing some sort of fault? Either way it seems to be booted back normally now. I'm going to try the overclocks again and see how it goes.

I had same problem long time ago when i had 3 GTX 570s and it is not due to cards but because of my processor overclocking.Try restore ur bios and run ur processor at stock than see if the problem is there or not.
