ASSUME NOTHING momo,
There was uncertainty whether or not it would ship or if you would have to obtain upgrade CD separately.

I have purchased quite a few mac myself...they always ship with the newest OS...
the uncertainty comes from people that don't know what they are talking about.

Nothing new? Try searching for a file in the Finder or an email in Mail.app. Spotlight is great for locating data.
I have smart folders set up in the Finder to filter all .doc files and .pdf files and INSTANTLY I have access to all of these files.
