Slightly warm deal on Pixie 17" monitor @ Staples $60 after coupon & MIR

I ordered one last night and the csr told me it only has a 90 days warranty and I bought an extended warranty for 19.99 for 1 year. Can anybody confirm the warranty on this monitor is only 90 days or 3 years warranty as stated on Pixie's website. If it is 3 years I am going to cancel my extended warranty.

Mikie, it was a typo. It's not papereclips but paper e-clips. They're for securing attachments to your e-mail messages.

I have purchased 3-4 of the Pixie (15" and 17&quot monitors for work and inside evry box is the three year warranty. I see no reason why a Pixie monitor shipped from Staples would be any different. Fry's (where I purchased the monitors) tried to sell me the three year warranty also, and I asked them why should I pay for a three year warranty when I already have one from Pixie???????? Get your warranty money back.

I just received my 17" Pixie from Staples. It is indeed the 3 year warranty. 69.00 total after rebate is great. Thanks for the post!!!

Mine is in Oregon on a UPS truck, supposed to be delivered tomorrow, of cource we have a Winter storm warning here in Spokane for 6 to 8 inches of snow with blowing 30 mph winds, so probably will see it next week sometime.. Thanks for the Hot deal..

Save your box and packing material. You will need it. I've only had my monitor for under one year and I've been shipping it back and forth forever. I'm on my 4th or 5th send back of my 19 inch monitor. Different model monitor sure.. but try this for yourself.

Get to the pixie web site and call the 800 number for tech help/warranty. This is the number you'll call for help and warranty.

They are down to ONE person answering the phones now. Two months ago, leaving voice mail got nowhere.. and then was told.. something like 500 voice mails in queue on the day I got through. What does that tell you? I'm still waiting for my UPS label to arrive to return my monitor now. They get to pay for it now.


If you get a good one.. luck to you. If you get a bad one, you are SOL. Another $60 for a better quality monitor is worth it to the eyes.. and fustration.

Well, I can tell you this about there company, a friend from work got his mom and dad one of these monitors, his mom after about 2 months decided to spill a glass of water into it.. snap crackle pop, boom... all over... You would think anyway... NOPE, he emailed Pixie and they sent him another one even though he spilt water in it.. Now maybe only one person is working there, but it certainly is a forgiving one, and I don't care what you say, I can not pass up a $60.00 monitor, when my daughter is using a 10 year old blurry ex airforce Zenith 14inch flat screen that you have to hit to get it to stay on.

i bought me a pixie and egayed it away. pos monitor. can't say much about the 770, but the 750 sure as hell sucked. 770 cant be that much better

Got mine in today, I really like it, some of you guys out there that think its blurry must all own Nec's or something, colors are bright, looks good and not a bit blury and easy onscreen adjustments. Well worth my 60.00

Yup, it ain't no Trinitron tube, but for $60 it's worth it. Picture looks sharp enough for my eyes The 770 has a better resolution than the 750. Many here may have the 750 that was a bit harsh on the eyes at the high end. But in 800x600 it was still a nice big monitor.
