If you do an edited slipstream take out the unneccesary files to make room for your custom install drivers/updates. Unless your updates are not going to take up much room. I usually start at the language directories.

Slipstream newbie 101, make sure when you burn the disk it is set as a bootable disk with the windows boot image. I've made a coaster or two by not following that step.

Ugh, I have Nero Express and it only allows default boot images OR boot images off a floppy >_<

Yeah, I have the boot image- but my version of Nero only allows me to select a boot image from a floppy or a list of default images!

yeah seriously! i just finished making a bootable cd with it. totally awesome. more than likely the best little tool i have used.
