Slow restart in XP

When rebooting XP after crash, it needs to check harddrives.
But a very annoying delay of 10 seconds is default.

How do you skip the pause, without skipping the checkdisk?
Would it be possible to shorten this delay?

First question is why are you crashing in XP... I have had only one lock up and that was due to Geforce drivers I downloaded from Nvidia, after I rolled back to the XP drivers all has been perfect while in XP.. as for slow booting, did you check in your bios for a quick boot option...

I use newest official Detonator driver for Geforce 3
I dont allways know why it crashes, but sometimes due to experimenting with my hardware options.

It dosnt crash often, but it happens and it seems encredibly stupid, that you have to wait for 10 seconds,
without any option to just go on with the checkdisk.
Pressing any key will skip the test, and XP will want to test next time you boot.

When you loaded the Geforce drivers did you get the "not signed logo" message from xp advising you not load those drivers??

Yes I got that message,
But the issue was how to get rid of the delay, when recovering from errors.
By the way...
You must have correct bios settings for Geforce 3, when using the new Detonator drivers.
Don't shadow VGA bios.
AGP aperture should be 128 MB at least.

I had problems because I also use Virtual CD, It is now updated, and works perfectly.
