yeah i got a pair of complete (springs already loaded) struts from them. in addition to being cheaper than anyone else (cheap bare struts + bearings from autozone wouldve been the same price), they shipped those plus two other boxes of parts for about 25. no tax, and had a coupon, as usual.

fwiw advance and autozone parts are usually TRW or moog, even if it's not mentioned in the catalog.

unless they've finally started getting their front end parts from sketchy chinese manufacturers, too. suspension stuff is usually one of the few things i will buy from the above stores, since i can typically get name brand (TRW or moog for stuff with bushings and joints, monroe, kyb or some such for shocks).

edit- are those a arm bushings a set? for 80 bucks id have to figure. you may be able to get aftermarket urethane for that much, if you're interested. only pro for most parts is durability, but stiffer a-arm bushings tend to help those cars a lot in the handing department.

They are poly bushings, a softer poly though, which I want. I am shooting for a very nice ride. This will be a street bruiser, with very little time at the track, and I don't foresee doing any autocross.

did you factor in the 40% coupon codes advanceautoparts have? dealio gives 40 off 100 right now, i'd break your order down to 100 each and get 40% off for a much better deal.

not saying rockauto isn't good, they rock, but i sometimes buy from advance just cuz they are cheaper after coupon.

They didn't have ALL of the parts in Moog. That, and in my experience, even with the coupons, Rock Auto is cheaper overall. That and I cant be bothered to split into 3 orders, and I really fucking hate their site.

So his complaint is that they are rusty? I need to box all of tis up and send it back ASAP! Wow. They are really pissed about some surface rust. unbelievable.

I have been using Moog parts forever, and they are the best quality for the price. There's more expensive, and cheaper - but Moog overall has very consistent quality.

He had to replace 1 of the 2 moog ball joints when it started leaking after 3 months. That's poor quality, but if you've never had a problem and you find their quality consistent, I'd stick with them too.

Just got my order today, 4 complete strut assemblies, 4 motor mounts, 2 rotors and a set of pads. Control arm bushings tomorrow.

Finally fixing my 95 Camry with almost 170,000 miles with all stock original suspension components. Poor thing is so trusty nothing ever gets replaced until it's really really dead.

uh, that's his tie rod end that's 'leaking'.

he's complaining about the castle nut and the exposed threads being rusty. he is a complete idiot who does not understand something as simple as why metal rusts.

he should make his own super duper ball joints of stainless. that'll work well.
