Small Rackmount Case

I'm interested in building a small, light rack mount system (for DJ use). I don't need anything high end... Small and light are the key words.

I saw a 1 unit rackmount system with 15in depth advertised on a DJ site (http://www.pcdj.com/Products/DJRak.asp) for $1700 but I know I can do better by building something myself. I've looked at a few sites that specialize in rackmount cases but haven't found the equivalent of this.

Can anybody point me to a small light case as a starting point?

You can get the custom parts at Mwave. However I do not know the weight on the Enlight 1U case. I know it ain't 15" deep though. Anyway here you go:

They have rackmount cases at Directron. I think they have some 1U cases.

You might want to take a look at the Via Epia-M motherboards and a Mini-ITX case. Reviews are starting to come out, it seems to have very good audio quality, and for the size (170mmX170mm) it can't be beat.

rackmountplus.com has 1Us from $179 to $209 depending on depth. They even come with power supplys for this price. If you can still get your hands on a asus tusi-m board for a socket 370, it has everything you need for a machine with no cards in it. It only cost about $60 for the last one i bought

General Technics has a 13.5" deep 1U chassis for $149 (no power supply). No external bays and only room for one hard drive, but neither did the system at PCDJ.
