Hi all!

I´m trying to find a small PC case that will hold:

ATX size motherboard
ATX size PSU
One (or two) 3.5" drives

I do not want it to have any 5.25" bays.

Anyone seen something like this?

so you want a full ATX motherboard support in the smallest case possible, or are you using a uATX motherboard?

The smallest cases that support full size ATX boards are the ones that put the PSU on it's side above the CPU.

Overall, a horrible design (I have a Lian-Li PC50 and a similar YCC case, I know.)

If you're bulding this from scratch, consider microATX. The case is smaller but without the issues of trying to squeeze all full size parts into a smaller package.

The nMediaPC 300 series are some of the smallest I know of that can hold an ATX mobo and PSU. JPAC has the NJA model which doesn't seem to be listed on Newegg any more - very similar to the nMedia in layout. Don't know where you could find one. I have never seen a case for an ATX mobo that doesn't include a 5" bay for an optical drive. The low profile Silverstone cases may have room for just a notebook-type optical drive, but Silverstone HTPC cases are pricey. Suntek Group (suntekgroup.com) used to make a small tower that was so compact inside that you have to take the height of your RAM modules into consideration when using an optical drive in it. They are the STK-9311/9511 and they're 15x15x8.6 - very difficult to find one to buy, you may have to call them directly. CompUSA used to sell something similar.
And Lian Li makes some short cases ( ~15" or less ) but are over 8" wide and 18+" deep.

Thanks for all your answers!

It is intended to be used as a thin client (thinstation) without any external drives. The only necessary drive is a floppy drive to start up the system. It is probably best to keep the floppy drive internal so no one messes with it.

I am reusing old hardware, so I want the case to be able to hold full ATX. The case can be very simple, no fancy stuff...
Of course, I can use any case but as I don´t need more than one 3.5" drive, I prefer a smaller case.

You said you want full ATX support, be aware that a microATX board has "full ATX support". The only real difference is it will have less PCI slots. I would suggest that you look into microATX (or miniATX, whatever they are called) boards.

What I meant was support for full size ATX and the boards I will be using are just that. They are all old boards that I want to put in a new, simple, small case and use as thin clients.
