Smallville has really disappointed me, and I've been a loyal fan through and through.
Clark still can't even fly. Doesn't wear the glasses so he's not technically Superman, yet. Doomsday was supposed to be a genetically engineered war machine.
As much as I like watching it, (haven't missed an episode) I'm glad this is the last season.

He wanted to do other things.

They have a lot of ground to cover before Doomsday should even come in. Leads me to believe it will be the end soon. I love watching the show but I really hate it at times. I truly feel they drug out Lana far too long and the story suffered because of this.
The truly sad part is there will never be an epic final conflict between Clark and Lex.

They can always change the story like they have done countless times. i.e maybe he defeats doomsday.

This is true! So now that I've finally caught up, it the show on hiatus [sp?] 'till January?

i'm wondering how long they are going to go with the doomsday arc since this is (most likely) the show's last season.

Kristin being beautiful was the only thing the show had going for it.

I believe they are going to take the Doomsday arc and finish off the show since this is the final season hdeck.
