I'm hooked too. It reminds me a bit of when I was hooked on Buffy. I knew a lot of the acting was so so, the stories were sometimes goofy and it seemed like it was aimed at an audience several years younger than I was but I couldn't stop watching it. Smallville FTW.

That was one of the better season premiers they've had IMO.

I guess if it really is the last season, then they're not going to hold back.

I hadn't really paid attention to whether or not this was announced as the last season - I could definitely understand if it were, being the 7th season, but man, I could watch this show forever. As said earlier, I know it's cheesey and dorky, etc. but there's something about this shortly post-pubescent/college aged Superman series that's pretty sweet. Just don't know where they'd go from here.

I missed the last two seasons so I had no clue what was going on but I love how they ramped up the action/sfx in this episode compared to previous seasons.

Chloe is still cute but she and Lana are really looking oldish....kind of like Ian Zering on 90210.
