Sorry.. When I said that I got my 100 sticks, I meant it as a joke. I didn't intend on people to keep PM'ing me asking about it. Sorry. I personally doubt that we'll ever see these, but it was worth a try. Especially since Buy.com doesn't charge you until the item ships.

No change yet here. I really expected them to cancel this last week. I have a feeling if Buy.com actually expects to honor these orders it may be a while before they actually do so.

No change for me either.... this would be SOME AMAZING deal if it works out... but buy.com HAS delayed a previous order of mine before: like ~$0.80 Belkin NICs a while back.

Doubt it. I've had a Buy.com order opened for over a year now, for a backordered camera battery for my Nikon Coolpix 995. I still get occasional e-mails from them with the subject "Still Looking".

yeah... still same status for me too... "On Order".

Maybe they're just waiting for the prices of RAM to go down enough so they can fulfill the orders without taking a loss... haha.. how lame.

Actually, that worked for that big monitor mistake at buy.com a few years ago. Went to a class action lawsuit that lasted a couple years, and they settled for mailing everyone who ordered a $50 per order check. (since I had 2 orders for it I got about $100) BUT that was before they had the stuff on the website about canceling for any reason. Plus now they say something like an order confirmation is not a confirmation of our intent to order, but only your REQUEST to order. Anyway... just my 2 cents

That's also the reason they DON'T charge you before your order ships now!

hmm.. I contacted them asking "IF/WHEN" they think the order might be received... then they sent me the msg:

ohh-- BTW.. I ordered on 12/25 also!

So.. now, what do ppl suggest me to purchase? Crucial @ newegg? what about Kingston Valueram-- any complaints?-- that is what I run in my current systems. only it is pc100, bot DDR.. good stuff.. what do you's think?!

And then sometimes Buy.com sends them too. I remember couple yeasr ago... with $50 off $50 coupon Buy.com did send me my free VCR !

Just got a message from Buy.com that they are trying to locate supply on these. Better IMHO than Amazon.com that dismisses their mistakes out of hand.
