Is there an adapter for a SMART PATA HDD that allows me to convert it into a USB drive.
I have a HP2510p notebook (small form factor) with a 60 GB 4200 rpm SMART PATA HDD and was wondering if there is an adapter available similar to the 2.5 or 3.5 SATA converters. That way, if anything happens to the drive or the OS, I can pull my files off.
I saw that there are a couple of converters like the one below on newegg but I didn't know if the SMART PATA was any different than the other PATA connections.
