Maher made a movie called Religulous and it's possibly the worst thing ever recorded. It's just an hour and a half of him arguing with random people. At one point he clearly loses an argument when a religious guy says Jesus can be 3 things at once just like water can be 3 physical states, so it cuts away from arguing and continues with him talking in the van about how that's not a great example. wtf?

It's also painfully ironic. Wasn't there some point where he had Huckabee on the show and he asked Huckabee something about how being a creationist means he's going against the opinions of thousands of people who do this for a living? Now Maher is the one doing the exact thing Huckabee was doing. Forget the science, I believe this, it's all toxins. You don't get the flu from flu germs, you get it from things like botulinum toxin (which is really weird because that means we'd give 2 names to the same illness)

edit: based on some youtube videos i just watched, it seems like he's kinda anti-vaccination. however, as far as most of his criticisms of the american healthcare sysem seem pretty valid. it's primarily based on symptom management rather than fixing the problem. our country is way too medicated unnecessarily, which is why so many people die of iatrogenic care. however, i blame it on our american lifestyle of instant gratification and lacking foresight... not entirely on the medical field.
