Just ordered mine, and I hope they decide to ship the free one with it, I copy and pasted the insert from there webpage in an email. Let's see what they say.

The email i received said they would honor those ordered up to 7 PM (I assume PST) Tuesday. Here is the email I received

This is part of an email I just received from the Buy.com customer service.

We are responding to your email regarding the free switches. Our
warehouse informs us that these free switches are to be shipped within
the month.

Sounds like a good thing to me.

"A supervisor has indicated the switch is a rebate offer from the
manufacturer and will automatically ship 30 days after the original
order. Please allow that time frame for your switch to arrive, and
notify us if you do not receive that."

If I move and change the address in my buy.com profile do you think they will ship it to my new address. I don't think that Snail Mail re-routing thing works with packages does it (where they take all ur mail and send it to your new house for awhile).

Called buy.com they told me that the 16th they sould ship more switches out!!! Just opened the one I had...awe...

Also, you can return stuff you opened to buy.com, so I could have already been using this, oh well. But anyone else who is wondering if they are going to get theres, just use the one you have for now, let buy.com deal with the opened box. Just dont break it.

BTW, at Fry's this SMC 16-port EZNET switch is on the shelves at $249 each (as of yesterday). I wonder if the store is aware the manufacturer is offering them for 2-for-$279?

Does someone have the number to Buy.com I am trying to reach their Customer Service and they refuse to give me the number and their email help is crap.

I bought one of these (on March 5th) and I have not recieved any of the emails about when it will ship or any email about what is going on with the free switch.

I cancelled early because I read on this forum that BUY.COM was not going to honor it. I got scared with the hassle of dealing with customer service, sending my order back, etc. So I decided to cancel it just to be safe. Somehow, I still haven't gotten the cancellation confirmation yet -> still says sent to warehouse.

Hey Everyone,
I just talked to a Customer Service rep at buy.com and found out about my order. They are pretty much backed up with cancellation requests, so that's why they haven't gotten back with my cancellation confirmation yet. She talked to her supervisor while I was on hold and her supervisor said that as long as it was ordered on or before 3/6, they will ship out the free switch. It will probably be shipped out on 3/16 or around that date (what I was told from her). So it looks like everything is ok! Good luck everyone!

Has anybody confirmed whether or not it is one free switch per person. Or is it for every one you bought at 140, you get a free one. I bought 2, and need to figure out how many switched ports I will have at my next lanparty

Don't want to go through all the post here. Just want to let you guys know that this deal WAS real. I ordered mine last month and did get the 2nd one. Not long after that, they changed the webpage. The "Buy one, get one free" was at the begining of the item description. I guess when they updated that page, they forgot to delete the other sentence which says that the free one will be shipped with your order.
