Omg- if they suddenly don't give us our switches- they are in soooooooooooooo much heat from all their customers. 'Cuz this time, it's not a "typo". They sent us emails telling us we'd get our switches . . . so they can't say, "oh- we accidentally typed up an entire email to all our customers saying you'd get your free switch."

I have two Supervisor's word that they will honor it! I placed my order 1 Satuday and 1 Sunday. I was promised my two free switches by this coming Friday. Have heard nothing different...

I'm not too concerned about the second switch. Buycomp has told me twice via e-mail that I will receive it.

If they fail to deliver, I will simply take them to small claims court as I should have done regarding the monidor fiasco two years ago. If it went that far (which I doubt) it would be extremely unlikely that Buycomp would win.

Finally:

At least 1 switch is shipped, for my order on 3/4. Package weight of "8 lbs" (shipped 3/13 from a Southern CA warehouse...for delivery to Northern CA).

No contraverting email (yet) indicating 2nd "free switch" won't be coming (...latest-received email -- 03/09 -- asserts: "For every switch you ordered, you will receive one free switch&quot.

As of 3/14/01, ETA on a restock for the SMC 16 Port switched is now the 1st week of April as per buy.com. Looks like we will be waiting a bit longer.

My switch finally shipped yesterday, coming from the CA warehouse. I did get an e-mail stating I'd be getting the second switch from SMC, but no way to track that. I ordered Sunday Morning (3/4).

I just checked ingrammicro's warehouse. My eta is tomorrow and then it will ship friday! They are getting 80 and are back ordered 3. Other warehouses are back ordered 522 and are getting 120. So it depends what warehouse you are getting yours from.
