I personally was disappointed in the graphics, but that's just me. It actually looked like a step down from the original BF1942. I'm sure they'll be tons of people playing it online however, which is the only thing that kind of has my interest peaked. Not sure what to do.

Frys in DFW was also advertising the $29.99 price.

I Am tring to understand why everyone is getting all excited about this game when they havent even tried a demo ?? I wish i could of played a demo of this game I dont drop $ on any game unless I know i like it. I will be standing in line to get Farcry in april, I played latest demo of that and it is the best game I have tried.

I was excited because I'm a huge BF1942 fan. However, after playing it, I was not impressed with the graphics or overall performance of the game.

It looks like Soldier of Fortune II to me.

Agreed on FarCry. It makes BFV look VERY lame- FarCry ROCKS.

Maybe because Battlefield 1942 is arguably the most fun multiplayer game ever and there is a large, loyal base of players. We know that it's basically the same game but in a different historical setting and with improved graphics. We don't need any demo to know this game will kick ass. BF is a pure multiplayer game, designed from the ground up for multiplayer... single player is just there for offline practice. So making a demo is not as easy as for a single player game, but hopefully they will release one eventually. As for Farcry, sure it looks like a good game but looks like just another FPS to me. It's not based on a historical war setting and I don't see anything about vehicles (maybe I missed that) so definately wouldn't compare it to BF.
