I picked one up earlier... why are these selling for so cheep? I love mine, and besides having to buy extenders for my PSU cables, it's been great.

What's going on with all these case deals here lately...SHEESH!
At this price, i'm going to have to get another one of these!
~$21 AR & shipping for me.
Nice find, OP!

The only thing I do not like about this case (I don't have one) is the intake opening at the bottom of the case (under the PSU), where all the dust is!
One could close that opening and install the PSU upside down (if the PSU has a fan at the bottom).
But, anything falling down will enter the PSU then! How many times have you dropped a screw in the case while working on your PC?

Perhaps rig a filter for the PSU? Perhaps sneak a pair of nylons from the wife's unmentionables drawer?

I prefer my P182, which does not have this particular problem.

The whole idea behind this design is to draw fresh cool air through the PSU instead of pulling warm air from inside the computer case. I own this case and filters are a good idea for the intake fans.

BTW this is a very hot deal. It's an exceptional case for the money. If you want glitz get a 900. My only problem with it is that I paid somewhat more back when I got mine.

The parts I need to cool are the CPU, the graphics card and the chipset.
My PSU does not heat up.

The main idea behind moving the PSU from the top of the case to the bottom was to allow the exhaust fans to move up where they can be more effective.

With the PSUs coming with lower and lower fan RPMs, the PSU became an ineffective cooling aid for the case. So, moving it to the bottom was an excellent idea.
Having the PSU intake fan suck air in directly from the floor serves no purpose that I can see.

This is just my opinion. You do not have to convince me in order to enjoy your case.

Creating a separate chamber for the PSU permits the use of room temperature air as the intake air. This will lower the internal working temperature of the PSU by at least 5C. If the HDD is positioned ahead of the PSU, then most of this benefit will go away since the HDD will also heat up the incoming air stream.

A top mounted PSU will use case temperature air for the intake. This will elevate the working temperature of the PSU by an additional 5 to 10C, depending on the air flow rate across the case and the CPU/GPU loads.

I looked at the p182 and the p180 for a long time ..

i dont like the door .. plus people were complaining about the fact it pita to keep open or it snapped off

a few people are complaining about the usb port falling apart

so i passed on it

I just yanked my antec 900 apart last week to use this tower. My temps dropped 10c on the cpu and 5 on hdd's ..12c over all system

This is by far the best case Ive had out of the 9 Ive owned in the last 5 months

build quality and cable management alone make the case worth its retail price

I took a dremel to the front intake fan grill dropped the fan noise down even more

Dropped a bit to 49.99 .... since I've been using it so hard lately, my wallet is crying for mercy.

Got in on this early a few days ago for $49.89 (s/h & tax)! I received the case yesterday and am impressed even without the MIR! Regardless I am going to send in my MIR today!

What's funny is that the window side panel (should be available early next year) will likely cost more that the case

Exactly, I really don't understand all these new cases with fans at the bottom. At least raise it up a couple centimeters if you're going to put a fan down there.

This case has stand offs to do exactly that.
