Djarum Specials =

Then I read about clove cigarettes being even more unhealthy than reg cigs and I was like "awww wtfmate." I always thought my tongue got numb because the 4 or 5 times I've smoked them was after I had brushed my teeth, but apparently it's something in the cloves.

By the way, how do you pronounce Djarum?

If you smoked cloves the way you smoke cigarettes, yeah, but I don't know anyone who smokes a pack of cloves a day....yech.

Also, if you are not a regular smoker, you will likely burn your tongue on anything you smoke.

yep, for djarum specials. local store had a buy 2 get 1 free deal, those things lasted me awhiiiiiiiile. only problem is the box is too damn big, makes its tough to carry around in pockets and such. i cut the boxes in half and carry them that way, but its still really ghetto and a pain to try and save the foil so i dont have 5 cloves mashed in the bottom of my pocket.

I always said it Jarum, close enough. Anyway, I'm not a heavy smoker, but cigars, pipes, and hookahs have never affected my tongue, only clove cigs.

Either way, they may be more unhealthy, but that just means to use them in more moderation. No way would I never again hear the magical crackling sound or taste that fantastic taste.

As long as you don't now. I dunno, to me, I don't find women smoking attractive at all.

Meh, plenty of people inhale cloves, veterans and noobs alike. It's really just a personal preference. If you can handle the smoke, then by all means go for it.

I never did smoke much, just a couple on a weekend when I was 16ish...never got hooked on them. I'd say that now I smoke one cigarette/clove every six years or less often, and only when drinking.

I find smokers of both genders to be really unattractive too.

I hate to say it but, those people are morons. Inhaling cloves is like inhaling a cigar. Cigaretts have a filter, cloves do not. It should be obvious how bad it is for you. You smoke a clove for the taste, that's it. If you want to inahle, smoke a cigarette. Unless you're a Darwin candidate, you shouldn't inhale a clove.

Most people I know don't smoke cloves/cigars nearly as often as cigarettes. For every pack of cloves a friend will go through, people will go through at least 10-12 packs of cigs.

Not saying that it's a good thing to do, just that relatively, I'm unsure how that one pack effects a persons lungs as much as those 10-12 packs of cigs. Especially when those clove users dont even inhale 100% of the time.
