Do the combos come with a 3 year warranty like they do when you purchase the processor or mobo on their own or do you have to pay extra on the combos for more than the 90 day warranty it's showing?

Purchasing has made some pretty decent price drops on the A64 939's, I'm trying to resist the temptation to upgrade myself!

The DFI nf4 I got was. I asked them not to test it so the cpu came sealed and the mobo came in a retail box.

How'd you request not to test? I don't see a comments box on the order form and when I called the guy said "That's the point of the combo, otherwise you'd just be ordering the parts." He might have misunderstood when I said I would be putting a different heatsink on and maybe thought I was a dumbass and was asking to have it tested without a heatsink.
They have a cheap $8 A64 fan you can throw into the combo so they can test it. Prolly worth it for the peace of mind, if you're planning on using a different HSF when you install it.Originally posted by: Loxias
