This is a smoking deal! CC has Fuji 50 Pack CDR's for 24.99 - $23 in rebates ($10 Fuji rebate & $13 cc rebate)= $1.99 (as has already been posted Here)

To Kick This Up A Notch: Rite Aid has the same 50 pack Fuji CDR's for $12.00, so PM Rite Aid at CC and you make $11 after rebates.

24.99 after PM=12.00-23.00 in rebates = $11.00 Profit.

I got this from the above mentiond post, but i think this is sooo hot it deserves its own thread!

BTW, i just got back from doing this. the manager didnt want to PM at 1st...but i talked him into it!

Refer to there store policy on PM's. They have to give you the price, or you can always complain about that store to the online CS. I have done this one time and got a courtesy call from the manager of the store to apologize for the screw up. It is a store policy to PM not just something you made up. And they have been doing it for years. Sometimes they lose money but most of the time they do not.

I bought 2 spindles. when the manager started up with the ours is cheaper after rebate, i came back with yeah...but i only get 1 rebate. he thought about it for a sec and grumbled to the sales rep to go ahead and give it to me....so i got 100 TY CDR's for $2 and change after tax! (or maybe i made $20.00....hmmmm)

managers 'round here are real picky...it's like they think that you photoshop-ed the ad and printed it out!

Question though - what are the proof of purchase requirement for the rebates? Does one only require a copy of the original?

I got that argument from the salesperson, of course. I had printed their "Low Price Guarantee" policy from the CC web site and asked the salesperson to show me where rebates are to be considered. I also pointed out that rebates are often not received for various reasons and the the store is quick to say they're not responsible when that happens. I finally had to ask for the store manager. The salesperson went to see him instead, and when she returned, she angrily did the price adjustment. In her very agitated state, she pricematched CC's before rebate price to Rite Aid's after rebate price. So I got the CDR's for $7.00 (plus tax) and have $23.00 in rebates coming.

Went to CC in Tustin, CA and got the last one there lying on the chkout counter when i asked the salesperson if there are anymore of those CDRs. I also asked him if he can pricematch w/ RiteAid, but he told me that if he does so, I may not be able to do the rebate. I guess at 1.99 AR is still a good price....oh well.....

The purchase price has no effect on the ability to redeem a rebate. It was simply a ploy to scare you away from the pricematch.

I pricematched and it worked but no rebates printed out. I can print out the rebates from the website and send them in right?

The forms from the Circuit City web site will work just fine.

i bought 1 from our rite-aid store since we don't have cc in our area (plus i'm trying to stay away from rebates)

So I got the CDR's for $7.00 (plus tax) and have $23.00 in rebates coming." Thanks,great deal, I too got the Fuji CDR's for $7 instead of Rite-Aid's $12. Then-- you should have seen the clerks eyes when the $23 rebate started to print out. I thought he was going to sh*t his pants. Also had him call Compusa to pm the Kodak glossy photo paper. That was what pushed him over the edge after repeated attempts/(at my request) to connect to a live person and verify the sale price. Btw, I got the photo paper from CC for a pm of $5.59 each. Thanks to all for a great deal & escapades after I got off work, it really made my night!

ARe you sure RonR? i was wondering if the PM would affect my rebate...but i decided it was worth the risk...

i did everything i could...but the guy wouldn't let me pm. kept saying the rebated price is cheaper and i kept saying it doesn't matter because it doesn't say in the policy. all that counts is the price out door. he didn't buy it.
